Billing, Shipping and Returns

Some items may be made available for preorder prior to their actual availability in stock. These items are noted as being preorders when they are added to your shopping cart. For credit card payments, you will not be charged until we have received the item and it is shipped to you. You may cancel your order at any time prior to it being shipped.
NestedUniverse.com lists physical items for sale in its online store. We do not sell or bill for subscription services or digital download products.
A user account may optionally be created at the time of checkout for your convenience in tracking purchases and making additional future purchases. Items may be purchased by adding them to an online cart and using the secure checkout process. A shipping method must be selected and charges for shipping are shown before the order is finalized. Order and payment confirmations are delivered via email to the address given during checkout, or previously connected with an established account.
Nested Universe uses a 2048 bit SSL encryption key to secure its website. Payments are collected by our secure 3rd party partners during checkout. We accept and process secure payments through PayPal (paypal.com), Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Diners Club credit card payments through Stripe (stripe.com) and Braintree (braintree.com), and Bitcoin transactions through coinify.com.
Orders using Bitcoin for payment are charged when the order is placed. Orders through PayPal and credit cards are authorized at the time of purchase, and payments are not charged until the order is shipped. Every attempt is made to maintain accurate inventory levels in our software to avoid inadvertent out-of-stock conditions when an order is placed. In the event that an item is not on hand due to an inventory error, issues with the quality of a product, or other or unforeseeable circumstances, an opportunity will be given for a full or partial refund.
We reserve the right to decline orders. In such cases, your payment method will not be charged if it has only had an authorization hold, or will be refunded if it has been charged and will not be shipped.
Sales tax is collected for customers in the state of Georgia.

We currently ship to United States and international destinations through standard delivery methods including those provided by UPS, FedEx and the United States Postal Service (based on our preferred shipping method selection). Most products are shipped directly from our location in Georgia. In some circumstances, items may be shipped from our third party warehousing partners. In all cases, products that we sell and ship are directly owned by Nested Universe, LLC. We do not use drop-ship suppliers.
We understand that you may prefer a particular shipping method. Requests to ship your items through a carrier which is different than our selection may result in additional shipping charges which will be identified to you and confirmed being charged.
Orders which are received by 8pm Eastern time for which all items are in stock are shipped the next business day (Monday through Saturday). Tracking information, when available, will be provided by email. Orders which contain one or more preorder items will be shipped within one business day after all preorder items have arrived in stock.
We do not charge a handling fee. United States destinations are charged a flat rate of $4.35 for shipping for standard delivery, and $6.45 for USPS Priority Mail shipping. A times, we may offer discounted or free shipping specials.
International Shipping (countries outside of the United States)
We are unable to provide estimated costs for customs, duties or import taxes. These fees are charged once a parcel reaches the destination country and they are the responsibility of the receiver of the shipment. We suggest that you contact the customs authority in your country or locality before ordering for more information on these charges. The customs, taxes, import duties and fees are not determined by us, and we do not receive any part of them.
For international orders, when paying by credit card or PayPal, orders can only be shipped to the same billing address on record with your bank (or PayPal). The billing and shipping information must match.
You may return new, unopened items in the same condition within 90 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay for economy return shipping costs if the return is a due to our error (for example, you received an incorrect or defective item, etc).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. In many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days for domestic returns), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Return process - United States
If you need to return an item, please login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. You can contact us with any questions. We'll notify you via email of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
For international orders that need to be returned, please contact us first so that we can help you determine the best return method. We'll pay for economy return shipping costs if the return is a due to our error (for example, you received an incorrect or defective item, etc). However, we will need to work with you to determine the best return method in advance.
